My name feels just right to me. But I came close to being called something entirely different. My parents met in The Haight Ashbury in 1968. My dad was a music producer and club owner. My mom was a flower child. Five years later, when they were choosing names, one of their top choices was willow summer Marie. To know me is to know that I am not a Willow Summer Marie. I’m so grateful my grandmother had a good, strong hand in changing their minds.
I am Sabrina.
