Storage Tips

Store leftover pizza slices in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. They can be frozen in appropriate freezer bags or containers for up to 2 months. I recommend toasting pizza slices in a toaster oven or the oven before serving them to revive the crispy crust.

Plant-based Pizza Toppings

There are a number of plant-based pizza toppings to consider for your pizzas. Here are some favorites:

  • Mushrooms
  • Sliced Cherry Tomatoes

Anyways, this post rocks! I love the family collaboration! I might see if my mother wants to do something similar on my blog…it really is a great idea! The pizzas looks pretty amazing as well 😉

What a great idea! I faced a lot of those challenges in my freshman year of college, and your idea for tips on avoiding the freshman 15 and all the bad food is something I’ve been thinking about quite a bit! I think that may be coming to the site soon:) Stay tuned!

Haha, freshman 15! I was the freshman 50! I did loose the weight eventually. Ha. I agree, these pizza’s aren’t just for vegans. Yummy for all. Yay.

that looks great. My 18 yr old plant based baby girl is getting ready to start college this fall. She wishes someone would write a book/blog/how to guide on staying vegan while trying to eat college cafeteria food without packing on the freshman 15. Maybe you could blog about it with lots of pointers, ideas, 911 help..lol! She is afraid she will get bored and cave to SAD stuff on the cafeteria line.
