Kansas City is home to some of the world’s best barbecue and here at Namely Marly, we think we’ve created the best KC Plant-Based BBQ. We decided to put that theory to a test with a good ol’ taste test challenge. What better place to do that than the Royal’s home opener game at Kauffman Stadium! With grilling season right around the corner, people are asking for the best recipes, including BBQ, sauces, and all the sides. If you think a plant-based life means forgoing the oh-so-delcious BBQ and grilling season. We’re here to tell you that just isn’t the case.

There are many tasty vegetarian and vegan recipes for grilling, including my grilled chorizo veggie burger. We also love to make our vegan sausage red pepper kabobs during grilling season. We serve these grilled reuben brats with our famously delicious vegan potato salad.

 

Best KC Plant-Based BBQ

BBQ season is not complete without some of the best KC plant-based BBQ piled high on hot-off-the-grill toasted buns. What’s the source of that BBQ? Well, I thought you’d never ask. We use jackfruit. We love that jackfruit creates a texture similar to pulled pork.
