Gluten-Free Dream Day
I recently met a friend for breakfast at Panera’s and was surprised, nay shocked, to learn that they didn’t offer any gluten-free items at the bread bar. How could this be? Are they not aware of the growing number of people who are flocking toward gluten-free lifestyles?
Obviously not! And this was a problem that could not go unattended for long. I contacted my friend, Allyson Kramer, of the fabulously vegan and gluten-free site Manifest Vegan and a dream was born. We called it, “Our Panera’s Gluten Free Dream Day.”
Our goal? To create a Gluten-Free Dream Day by publishing recipes for the kind of bread bar goodies we would see at Panera, or any other cafe for that matter. Of course, we had to invite some friends to join us. We found other food bloggers who were either passionate about gluten-free recipes or simply curious to give it a try.
You can join us on our Gluten-Free Dream Day by visiting these friends who have created gluten-free versions of Panera Bread Bar goodies. Maybe one day, bakeries around the planet will offer more gluten-free goodies for this growing demographic!
