It’s so fun being in a Secret Santa gift exchange and the one I’m in right now is even better…because it involves cookies!
I’m participating in the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap along with 450 other food bloggers! The whole event has been organized by Julie of The Little Kitchen and Lindsay of Love and Olive Oil. I don’t envy them for organizing 450 food bloggers around a central post!
Lucky me that there were other vegans participating so I got to go along for the ride as well!
The difficult thing was deciding what to make. It needed to be in the cookie family. And it needed to be something I hadn’t previously posted. And it had to be different in a delicious kind of way!
I landed on the perfect recipe and made my cookies this weekend. They’re in the mail as we speak and should be arriving at their destination any minute!
The thing is, this deal is still under wraps. That means I’m in Key Largo. No, that’s not right. I mean…I’m under embargo. I can’t tell you where or why or what I’ve sent. This is difficult for me, folks. This is why I do my shopping at the last minute because if I have things sitting around in pretty little packages, I’m gonna want to give them out.
But I gave my word so I’m gonna try to be good. But although I can’t tell you what cookies I made, I can tell you they involved these. Sprinkles and the holidays. They go so well together, don’t you think?
If you’re curious to know about my sprinkly cookies and what I get in return, December 12 is the official “spill the beans” posting date. One week. I think I can do it. And in the meantime I will be receiving boxes of goodies from my very own Food Blogger Secret Santas! Happy holiday eating to us all!
