Ingredients

  • 1 package Gardein Chicken Patties thawed*
  • 2 - 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon white wine optional
  • ½ - 1 teaspoon Better than Bouillon No Chicken Base**
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fig jam

Instructions

  • Pour olive oil into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add vegan chicken patties and cook until browned on both sides. Transfer to a plate and cover with a lid to keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, add the onions and cook until tender, about 3 minutes. Add the wine to the skillet and use that to help scrape up browned bits on the pan.
  • Add the broth, water, and jam to the skillet. Stir to combine. Add more jam or water to create the desired consistency.
  • Serve the prepared Vegan Chttp://amzn.to/2dbZdIIhicken Patties drizzled with fig sauce.

Notes

* I buy Gardein products at our Natural Grocers. You can also find them at Target. ** I buy this at Amazon. Also, you can sub 1/4 cup vegetable broth for the bouillon plus water listed above.
