A lavender cream cheese filling is a perfect touch for this Stuffed Dates recipe. Serve this as an appetizer at your next party!

- 12 medjool dates
- 8 ounce container vegan cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon lavender chopped
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Slice date to open it up. You want to make the cut on the long side of the date. Be careful not to cut all the way through. If your dates still have pits, remove those now.
Combine the cream cheese with the lavender and stir well. Fill the dates with the cream cheese mixture. If you don’t have any lavender handy, these will taste just fine with plain vegan cream cheese stuffing as well.
Pour the 2 – 4 tablespoons of sugar on a plate. Roll the stuffed date in the sugar until adequately covered.
Place the dates on a serving dish. Garnish with lavender flowers if you have them handy. Enjoy!
