Oreo Frosting

Make a simple cake something special by spreading this luxurious Oreo frosting on top. It's also great on cupcakes where you can share it for Birthday parties and more!

  • Cream the vegan butter and shortening together until fluffy.
  • Add the powdered sugar, one cup a time, mixing in between each addition. Then add milk, one tablespoon at a time, mixing in between each addition. You should have a smooth, spreadable frosting.
  • Add the cookie crumbs and mix in short bursts until just combined.
  • Spread over cakes, cupcakes, donuts, and more.
  • Store any leftover frosting in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days. You can freeze this frosting in appropriate freezer containers for up to 2 months.

Notes

The nutrition estimation is based on one serving which would be spread over a cake and divided into multiple pieces.
If you want to pipe this frosting, I recommend using finely ground cookie crumbs so they won't clog the piping tips.
